Recording Finished, Last Day Singalong, Snaps In Motion

Yes y'all,

It's been a fantastic start to the year, we've already been up and down the country playing shows but, more importantly, we've finished recording our next EP. It's been a few months in the making, but we're super proud of it... aiming for a May release (famous last words!). Check out our SoundCloud if you need an EC fix before then.

--------LAST DAY SINGALONG--------

We've been noticing more and more that audiences are really 'getting' Last Day.... been some awesome singalongs recently, here's one of our favourites from Motion, Bristol earlier in the month.

The rest of the night was just as awesome, here are a few of our favourite pictures....

Also playing on the night were The Correspondents, and The Furious 5 (yes, them ones!), so big shouts to those guys and Funk From The Trunk for making the night so memorable.

Welcome to 2013, On The Road, No Money Blues

Yes y'all,

A big warm welcome into 2013 from us at EC. We're currently in the studio working on our follow up EP to the Last Day and Won't Stay Down releases we put out last year.

2012 saw us sign our first record deal with DOORLY, sign our first management deal with Finger Lickin' Records, get played on the radio by legends such as Annie Mac and TODDLA T, play on stage with legends such as Tower of Power and Labrinth, play at some of the biggest festivals in the UK, play at some of the sickest venues, shoot our first music video with AshTV Music Video, shoot a TV show pilot with Ont' Sofa (that should be out this month!), meet some amazing talented people, and clock up a fair few thousand motorway miles. We had an absolute ball and want to thank everyone who came to a show, bought our music, or who connected with us on here for making it possible. Not going to be cliched and say 2013 is going to be 'our year', but we're going to try our best to keep making bigger moves and keep improving as a band to make the best music we can.

With that in mind we're eager to get back out on the road and have a few early dates booked in to get the ball rolling:

Looking forward to playing at Hoochie Coochie, The Blind Tiger, and Motion. Also massively looking forward to playing alongside The Correspondents, The Furious 5 (Yes, of 'The Message' and 'White Lines' fame), Tim Westwood in Bristol, and being supported by Bronzehead in Brighton.

-------NO MONEY BLUES-------

Finally, we've been allowed to upload this track from last year. Seems pretty fitting for January's empty pockets. Big up to Duke Dumont on the production!

Released as the lead track on Duke Dumont's 'For Club Play Only' EP, this track racked up club plays all over the World and also featured on many radio shows including:

Radio 1 and 1XTRA: Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Nick Grimshaw, Toddla T, Fearne Cotton, Rob Da Bank, Trevor Nelson.
Kiss: Sinden
XFM: Eddy TM
